StoryWeaver is a digital repository of multilingual stories for children from Pratham Books. There are hundred of books to read, create using free images, translate, or adapt to suit local contexts. The books can then be printed or downloaded for offline reading. All content is openly licensed under Creative Commons 4.0 license.

WordScientists.org is a not-for-profit organization that provides a central place for educators to learn how to teach early reading with accompanying materials that can be used in their classroom.
The teacher mode contains professional development videos (with transcripts) and classroom resources targeted at four reading levels. There is also a student mode with reading materials for each level.

Bloom is a local-language literacy resource creating software that enables books from all around the world to be translated into local languages. It also contains an online library of books that have been made using the software for anyone to access, read, download and print.
This link: https://bloomlibrary.org/browse will take you to the Bloom Library, containing over 1200 books in 86 languages. Books are organised by languages, regions, and topics. There are many books about the Pacific and some in Solomon Islands Pijin. Simply choose a title that interests you, select “preview” and then you can save or download to your device.
